It's based on action that happened in 2003.
Matasareanu and Philips, equipped in pistol, AKM and HK91 tried to rob a bank.
Matasareanu was wearing few armours on him, including military armour, and Philips had only one armour.
Police has arrived to the bank, and surrounded thiefs.
But the thiefs weren't going to surrender. They went out the bank and started shooting.
They were going back to bank, to change the ammo clips.
Sadly police guns (9mms' and .38 specials') were doing no damage to both of the crime committers.
The shooting elapsed 44 minutes, then SWAT arrived.
Philips has seen he is surrounded, so he shot himself in head, while Matasareanu got shot in his legs by SWAT.
The paramedics didn't make it on time, and he died.
At the end, 13 police officers were hit, few of them more than once, and 7 civilians were shot. No one except thiefs died.
Philips got shot about 10 times, and Matasareanu about 20-30.
