You have found it boring because you havent understood how to proceed in first case.
The Tower on which you are standing in the start is the 'Downtown Tower'.And After you grab the parachute,You have to parachute down the tower looking for a sniper Rifle in the Balconies.One balcony will contain a sniper Rifle.After that You have to get to the balcony Door.
