What We Absolutely LOVE About The Shark NV360

  • Reasonable Price

NV360 is the best upright vacuum on the market at this unusually affordable price range.

This reasonably priced NV360 comes with mighty suction power, built-in storage for tools and hose, On/Off Brush Roll function, and integrated anti allergen complete seal technology.

But what surprised us about this standard vacuum cleaner is the motor’s premium engineering quality, which is on par with higher-priced devices such as Shark Navigator ZU561 or Shark Pet Pro ZU62.

  • Great suction power

We did a simple test on low pile carpet with those 3 vacuum cleaners and found that the NV360 performed the best picking up almost all small debris. This means, if put to regular housekeeping tasks, the NV360 is the best bang for the buck.

You can adjust the suction power of the NV360 by rotating the handle’s collar. So let’s say you are working on a delicate carpet, and you don’t want to pull too hard. You can quickly bleed some suction off by dialing down on the collar.

  • Smart Air Filter Design

NV360 belongs to a line of bagless upright vacuums from Shark with integrated anti allergen complete seal technology. Specifically, NV360 comes with 3 filters: 2 pre-motor and 1 HEPA filter post-motor.

This design ensures the air coming out of the vacuum doesn’t contain harmful fine particles, keeping your living environment dust-free and safe.

  • High Mobility

Talking about the motor, we think the Lift-Away function on NV360 is pure genius. You can remove the motor part from the cleaning head. The detached canister and the handle then become a handheld vacuum cleaner.

That way, you can easily transform NV360 from vacuuming on the carpeted stairs to cleaning your car interior in less than 10 seconds.

What We Think Can Be Improved On The Shark Navigator Lift Away NV360

  • Better Build

Construction-wise, the NV360 has a solid build. But it tips over very easily, especially when the dust canister is full.

NV360 is light and easy to maneuver, particularly with a swivel steering head. But it doesn’t turn as sharply as we want.

You won’t be getting a lot of reach, unless you use the Life-Away function, because the hose and the power cord are relatively short.

  • Better Tools

The current Push-and-pull connecting mechanism on NV360 cannot last for too long.

Shark should have opted for a click-on mechanism found on other models. That way, no crevice tool would break off in the middle of cleaning.

We also want to see more tools, especially powered tools, so NV360 can handle a wider variety of cleaning tasks.

The Bottom Line

We cannot recommend the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe NV360 upright vacuum ENOUGH if you are on a budget.

At this price range, it tops all other vacuum cleaners on the market right now!
