Pediatric clinic prominent medical organizations, including the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of montreal, the Montreal Paediatric Society, and the American Academy of Pediatrics have recognized the high quality of Canadian pediatrics by awarding its Fellowship status to the majority of its graduates. Becoming a pediatrician requires four years of intensive training after medical school. Candidates spend the first three years of their education in medical school and then complete their residency in pediatrics.
