GTA: Area 69 Stories is based after the Events of GTA: San Andreas, not so long after in 1992. It is based on fictional events involving recurring protagonists Carl Johnson, Tommy Vercetti, and Claude.

Carl's Perspective: US Government Agent Toreno shows up at the Johnson House while Carl and Sweet are having a talk about a planned shootout. Toreno tells Carl that he must kill a Russian threat to the US, who is willing to unveil the US Government's secrets to the world. If he kills the threat, Toreno will be gone forever.

Tommy's Perspective: Tommy goes to San Andreas to work with Ken Rosenberg again after Vercetti Estate is in a flux in 1992. He meets up with Avery Carrington, who is spreading his business into San Andreas. He does a favor for Tommy by asking him to steal a SWAT Tank from Area 69, in order to import it to Vercetti Estate back in Vice City, to help out Tommy's business.

Claude's Perspective: After Catalina and Claude claimed to go to Liberty City after starting their 9-Year Robbery Spree. Catalina plans on robbing Area 69, after founding out that Area 69 isn't being secured by the FBI or US Military.

All three characters interwine with each other in Area 69.

As of January 23, 2015 (UPDATE): Improvements to mission gameplay. Storyline functionality gone due to errors, now playable as single missions.
