CJ 1993 is an artificial GTA San Andreas mission created using DYOM by Zulkifli Wardiman. The mission was inspired by the Indonesian romantic movie Dilan 1990, although not everything is similar. The main similarity lies in CJ’s romantic attitude toward Denise. In this mission, CJ continuously tries to win Denise’s heart.

The mission is set in 1993, a period after Big Smoke and Ryder had died. In other words, this is a relatively quiet period, during which the Grove Street Families have returned to Los Santos. All character names used in this mission are based on characters from GTA San Andreas.

Interestingly, Ganton becomes crowded again. CJ’s friends gather there, and players can even see Sweet and his girlfriend relaxing in front of Sweet’s house.
