April 4th, year 2001. Second American Civil War.
The US forces (or "loyalists") are suffering great losses and the tide of the war is turning in favor of the rebels.
In San Andreas, the rebels have gained control of Las Venturas and the rest of the desert, while Los Santos has fallen to the gangs. From San Fierro, the loyalists attempt a sea assault against the city of El Quebrados to break their encirclement.
