Snapshot Characters In-Game

By The John David

Have you want to take a picture of your character when designing, even when you want to showcase them in your project? Unfortunately in the original game without mods. There's no built-in screenshot you can do that. You can only use the weapon camera to take a picture of your character, however, this proven cumbersome on most of the designers. But that doesn't matter, this guide will simply help you how can you take screenshots in-game without the use of the camera weapon. Example below:

GUIDE #1

There is a mod called "Amazing Screenshot" made by Silent. To use Amazing Screenshot, press and hold the ALT then V button at your keyboard to freeze time. Press V again to select Free Camera Mode, allowing you to hover around.

GUIDE #2

After mastering the use of Amazing Screenshot mod, it's time for you to take some awesome screenshot for your characters. To do this, select any actor you want and take a screenshot on their faces or their body. Make sure you've turn ON the "Store Gallery Photos" in-game to save all your screenshots at your GTA San Andreas User Files/Gallery Folder. Examples below:

You can also take screenshots on anything like the environment, atmosphere or something you might liked. Most veteran designers are doing this to create their own headers which they display it on GTAForums topic. Example below:

You can edit them using Adobe Photoshop (any version) if you have some editing skills. This is mostly I used when I'm creating my own headers. If you don't have some editing skills? I strongly recommend you to watch Photoshop tutorials to learn about using them.

That's all for the tutorial. I hope it helps you. If you want some example of my headers. Check out the GTAForums Topic for all my projects as your inspirations. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM ON YOUR OWN TOPICS.
